WVFG RAFFLE OVERVIEW
- Entry price: $10 per entry
- Total entries: Limited (as stated per raffle)
- Prizes: Vary by raffle (see current raffle listing)
- Winners: Number of winners will be specified per raffle
- Drawing: Conducted on the date listed for each raffle
PRIZES
- Prizes are awarded as described in each raffle listing
- Prizes will be shipped directly to winners when applicable
- No cash substitutions unless explicitly stated
- WVFG reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be 18 years or older to enter
- Void where prohibited by law
- Participants must comply with all local, state, and federal laws
- WVFG reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates rules or appears fraudulent
ODDS
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
DRAWING METHOD
Winners will be selected at random using a third-party tool, Wheel of Names.
Each eligible entry is assigned to a participant, and all entries are included in the drawing pool. The winner is determined by a randomized selection process conducted through this third-party system.
WVFG does not manually select winners. The drawing process is random and impartial.
- The drawing may be recorded or conducted publicly when possible
- The results of the drawing are final
- By entering, participants acknowledge and accept the use of a third-party random selection tool for determining winners.
DELIVERY
- Prizes will be shipped to the address provided by the winner
- WVFG is not responsible for shipping delays or carrier issues
- Winners are responsible for providing accurate contact and shipping information
USE OF PROCEEDS
Proceeds from raffles support the West Virginia Filmmakers Guild, a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding filmmakers, creative projects, and community initiatives.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- By entering, participants agree to allow WVFG to use their name for promotional purposes (if permitted by law)
- WVFG is not responsible for technical issues, website downtime, or failed entries
- All decisions made by WVFG are final

WVFG is not responsible for:
- Any damage, defects, or malfunctions of a prize after delivery
- Any injuries, losses, or damages resulting from the use or misuse of a prize
- Any property damage caused by a prize
- Manufacturer defects or issues covered under third-party warranties
All prizes are fulfilled through third-party vendors or manufacturers. Any issues related to product performance, defects, or warranty claims must be directed to the manufacturer or retailer.
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless WVFG, its officers, members, and affiliates from any and all liability related to the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
50/50 RAFFLE TERMS & CONDITIONS
Overview
The 50/50 raffle is conducted by the West Virginia Filmmakers Guild (“WVFG”). Participants may purchase entries online for a chance to win a cash prize equal to 50% of the total funds collected for that raffle.
Prize
The winner will receive 50% of the total eligible raffle proceeds collected by the close of the raffle period.
Eligible proceeds are calculated after payment processing and transaction fees are deducted from each entry.
- Each $10 entry includes applicable fees
- The remaining net amount is split 50/50 between the winner and WVFG
The remaining 50% supports WVFG and its mission.
The final prize amount will be determined after all entries are processed.
Drawing
- The winner will be selected at random using a third-party system
- The drawing will take place on the final day of the event or as otherwise specified
- The decision is final
Payment of Prize
- The winner will receive their prize via check issued by WVFG
- If the winner is present at the event during the drawing, the check may be issued and delivered in person
- If the winner is not present, the check will be mailed to the address provided by the winner
- The winner is responsible for providing accurate contact and mailing information
WVFG is not responsible for delays or issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete contact information provided by the winner.
Taxes & Reporting
- The winner is responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes
- WVFG may be required to collect identifying information (such as a W-9 form) prior to issuing payment
- WVFG may issue appropriate tax documentation as required by law

- All entries are processed through an online platform
- WVFG is not responsible for technical issues, failed transactions, or connectivity problems
- Only completed and confirmed entries are eligible
